Coronavirus Update

24th March 2020

These are unprecedented and difficult times.

The UK Government last night announced that all non-essential businesses must close for a minimum of 3 weeks in order to help reduce the impact of the virus. It also insisted on the stopping of all non-essential travel.

Although garages are currently exempt from from this list we will be closing our workshops and facilities to retail customers in order to help protect them and our staff. We are of cause here to help any Key Workers that need assistance and have taken appropriate measures. The majority of our wonderfully supportive team will remain at home or work on shifts to minimise contact in the coming days.

We had planned for this but it’s safe to say this has come into place quicker than we expected.

We will today be contacting individually all the many customers that have already trusted us with their cars for service, upgrades or repair to reassure them and explain our steps through this.

We will also contact all the customers that have made bookings to update them and make arrangements for the future.

In the meantime as Jenny and I live on site we will continue to operate the office and process orders as normal. Lee our Parts Manager has kindly offered to work from home to help with enquires. Dan and myself will be able to provide remote mapping support to our international customers and those in the UK that want datalogs checked of their trip to the shops.

We are immensely proud of the business and skilled team we have developed over the last 24 years and we will do everything we can to support it and them in the coming weeks.

Thank you once again for your understanding and we wish you and your family the very best during this challenging period.

Kind regards

Iain & Jenny Litchfield
