After moving from our previous site in Tewkesbury back in 2008 to our current location, we have continually invested back into the Litchfield premises to provide the best facilities available to our customers. In this time our site has grown significantly as we have steadily expanded. We plan further investment in the coming years as we look to bring more of our processes in-house with the improvement in efficiency these will bring.
To create a vehicle that is genuinely improved over the standard factory specification, Litchfield have always believed in buying their own cars. Customer
We have built a quiet and spacious customer waiting room at the heart of the building, allowing workshop views along with free Wi-Fi, Sky TV, complimentary refreshments and lazy boy reclining seating.
We have also installed a large dyno viewing window which allows a clear view of the chassis dyno via the double windows in the engine-build clean room. All from the peace and comfort of our waiting room sofas.
We can provide courtesy cars, by appointment, so customers can enjoy the pleasant Cotswold towns of Cheltenham (4 miles) and Tewkesbury (2 miles). There are also some very good local restaurants, including Michelin starred, should you find yourself here over lunchtime. There is an IMAX cinema in Cheltenham, local golf courses and great walks up into the Cotswolds. Customers with children have a large array of places to visit, including the Cotswold Farm Park and WWT Slimbridge.
If you are coming from far a-field, we have some lovely local hotels to stay in for a relaxing time whilst we perform our work.
For convenience, we can also offer a fully insured, covered supercar transport with full-time vehicle movement professionals. Fleet includes 2023 Mercedes Actros with custom coachwork twin car covered body, Brian James Race Transporter and trailers.
Dynamometers
We are extremely proud of our State-of-the-art 4wd Maha MSR500 and its custom dyno cell. Here we can accurately measure vehicle performance and simulate road conditions using the same German made equipment as many of the large OEM manufacturers.
2017 saw the commissioning of our Superflow engine dyno cell which has lead to significant advances in our component testing.
