AUDI E-TRON GT ECU TUNING
We are now able to offer ECU tuning for the Audi e-Tron GT and Porsche Taycan range. Both platforms use the Continental ASG1 control unit across all first generation Taycan and e-Tron GT models. This ECU governs how much performance is released from the electric motors and, from the factory, output is deliberately restricted to suit each model designation within the range. Having owned and lived with both a Taycan 4S and a Taycan GTS, we understand first hand how additional performance transforms the driving experience. The cars feel more urgent, more responsive and ultimately more engaging without compromising range.
How our EV tuning works
The electric motors fitted to these vehicles have significant unused potential. Our calibration work carefully releases this performance while remaining fully within the limits of the vehicle’s Battery Management System (BMS). Crucially, the battery always remains in full control. The BMS continuously monitors temperature, voltage and current delivery and will not allow power output to exceed what the battery can safely supply. Our tuning works alongside these safeguards rather than bypassing them.
The result is a substantial increase in performance with the factory battery protection strategies left intact.
Performance gains
Gains vary depending on motor and battery configuration, however some models respond extremely well with highlights being; Audi RS e Tron GT can see increases of up to 156 bhp, Porsche Taycan GTS models can unlock up to 202 bhp, even the Taycan Turbo models benefit from gains of around 120 bhp Improvements are delivered across the power band, enhancing throttle response and in gear acceleration rather than just peak figures. Programming & Returning to standard
We read and write the ECU directly through the OBD port. This allows for fast programming with no need to remove control units from the vehicle. The car can also be returned to standard software at any time, giving complete flexibility for owners.
