Anyone who has driven the Porsche GT4 RS will know what a brilliantly focused car it is. The engine, steering response and track performance make it one of Porsche’s most exciting modern GT cars, but on the road the standard suspension can feel uncompromising, especially on typical UK roads.
Our chassis upgrades have been developed to make the GT4 RS more comfortable, more composed and more usable on the road, while retaining the precision and performance that make the car so special when on track.
Litchfield Bilstein Suspension Upgrade
The Litchfield Bilstein suspension upgrade has been designed to transform the ride quality and chassis control of the GT4 RS.
The aim was clear, to make the car more comfortable and more usable on the road, without sacrificing its outstanding track capability.
Bilstein are the OE damper supplier to Porsche, and their electronically adjustable Damptronic dampers are fitted to the GT4 RS as standard. This technology is something we know very well. We have worked closely with Bilstein for many years, including on our upgraded Nissan GT-R suspension kits, with over 600 sets sold worldwide.
When we experienced the firm and uncompromising standard suspension settings of the GT4 RS, we knew there was real scope to improve the car without taking away its character.
After months of development on our own GT4 RS, covering both road and track testing, we finalised a revised suspension package with custom damper internals and new springs. The result is a setup that completely changes the way the car feels.
Our dampers use unique front and rear internal settings, developed to work seamlessly with the Porsche suspension controller. In Normal mode, the improvement in ride quality is immediately noticeable. The chassis is better able to absorb both large and small imperfections in the road, giving the driver a more relaxed and comfortable experience.
In Sport mode, the car still feels sharp and controlled, but with far better bump absorption and composure. On circuit, this added compliance helps the car deal with kerbs and surface changes more effectively, allowing the tyre to stay in better contact with the track.
The result is improved traction, greater stability and more driver confidence, both on road and track.
The package also includes our custom spring rates and helper springs, allowing the ride height to be adjusted to suit each owner’s use and preferences.
This is a complete suspension upgrade that makes the GT4 RS easier to enjoy more of the time, without losing the focus and response that define the car.

Litchfield Rear Toe Arms
When lowering the GT4 RS, especially when increasing rear camber, the factory rear toe adjustment can become limited. Our Litchfield rear toe arms provide the additional adjustment needed to achieve the correct geometry settings.
The design uses a proven OEM joint at the hub, combined with a motorsport rose joint on the inner mounting side. This improves movement, reduces stiction and provides more direct feedback through the chassis.
The toe arm is built around a CNC machined housing and shaft, giving a lightweight but strong solution suitable for road and track use.
The adjusters are positioned for easy access, allowing fine adjustment of the rear toe settings during alignment. A double locking system secures the final setting once the preferred geometry has been achieved.
Our rear toe arms are compatible with the Porsche 718 GT4, 718 GT4 RS and 981 models.
