We offer a number of exhaust options to suit each customer’s requirements. The standard Porsche 3.0T exhaust is very restrictive and relatively quiet, even with the popular ‘Sports Exhaust’. The options below solve this problem and provide tangible improvements in both engine performance, weight saving and exhaust note character. Both the Remus and Akrapovic rear silencers can be installed easily and require no changes to the standard ECU calibration.

Akrapovic even produced the titanium exhaust system for the original Porsche GT3 RS. We are proud to say we are Akrapovic’s largest UK dealer and have even helped develop some of their newer systems.
Slip On Line with Link Pipes
For the 3.0T engine Akrapovic offer solutions to suit both the standard and Sports exhaust options. The power gains and weight saving is significant over the original systems but the Akrapovic system has also been tuned to give an aggressive tone and increased overrun theatre when pressing on. Despite this it still remains cultured and smooth sounding on a motorway cruise or with the valve closed.
The Akrapaovic Slip-on Line is made from their own propriety Titanium and reduces weight by over 35% and provides a power increase of +19 bhp and +28.5 lbft! For those customers looking for the ultimate setup Akrapovic also offer Sport CAT link pipes that further improve the exhaust gas flow and aural quality. When combined with the Slip-on Silencer the power increases by +23bhp and 33.9lbft, incredible increases from just an exhaust and an example of how restrictive the OE system is. Even greater gains are available when combined with our ECU remap.
The Slip-on rear silencer is finished with titanium rear tail pipes and can be further enhanced with the addition of Akrapovic rear carbon diffuser (available in Matt or Gloss Carbon finish).

To further improve exhaust flow and reduce back pressure we have produced our own Sports Catalytic Convertors that significantly reduce the back pressure on the engine to improve performance and response from the turbos. Our Sports CATs use the largest high performance HJS substrate and are manufactured and coated in Germany to meet the latest emission standards. These new Sports CATs are incorporated into our redesigned cone housings to offer improved flow into and out of the substrate to further increase their efficiency. The Litchfield Sport CAT’s can be fitted to any aftermarket Porsche Sports Exhaust compatible silencer and are fabricated in-house for a perfect fitment.
The original 3.0T turbo manifolds use a restrictive pressed log design that combines the three cylinders on each bank before exiting into one small pipe before the turbos. Internally these manifolds have large supports to strengthen the oval shape but these would cause a significant flow restriction, coupled to the a small outlet.
We have designed and manufactured our own tubular headers that use CAD design to optimise the shape of our 3-into-1 manifold. The new design smoothly merges each port into the free flowing collector just prior to the turbo entry. This helps reduce the exhaust pulse interference and drastically changes the way the turbo responds. The turbos spool much faster, providing almost immediate throttle response even from very low in the rev range. The engine pulls more urgently higher up the rev range and the exhaust note has a cleaner and crisper note to it.
The Litchfield manifold combined with a free flowing exhaust from Remus or Akrapovic plus our recalibrated ECU will see the Carrera engine produce over 480 bhp and with the larger turbos found on the Carrera S and GTS models there is significantly more to gain.
